Fire Damper APPLICATION
Shahrokhi fire dampers are used inline the ducts for prevent fire and smoke passing from the fire zone to another zone.
These dampers fixed along the wall or partition at vertical position and along the ceiling at horizontal position.
DESCRIPTION
Shahrokhi fire dampers constructed in three types of corrugate , parallel and opposite.
These dampers have an access door to control and change the fuse (Figure 5) and either equipped with a command system to close the air duct path as following:
- The command system with a thermal element at 71 c set point usable in each three types of dampers.
- The command system with a thermal fuse at 68 c & 79 c set points usable in each three types of dampers.
- The command system with a smoke or thermal detectors usable in parallel and opposite types of dampers.
CORRUGATE FIRE DAMPERS
The corrugate fire dampers have a number of interlocking blades which these blades fixed the damper at open position by use a support.
In fire time at vertical fixing position the damper closed because of blades weight and at horizontal fixing position closed by a special spring.
Either in these types of dampers is possible to fix the blades outside the air path inside a casing to decrease air pressure drop.
PARALLEL & OPPOSITE FIRE DAMPERS
The parallel and opposite fire dampers have multi blades with a common linkage mechanism which these blades fixed damper at open position by use a support.
In fire time, the damper closed because of the weight attached the blades at vertical fixing position.
Either is possible to connected the linkage mechanism to an electrical motor at horizontal and vertical fixing positions.
MATERIAL
High quality 2mm. thickness iron galvanized or stainless-steel sheet for frames and
blades.
